To access the English translation of a Spanish dialog
box
press:
For Windows, Control Alt E
For Macintosh, Control Option E

To control the pace of the dialog boxes:
Click on Contenido, then on D (Dialogo), then on Grado.
To move to the next dialog box, click the arrow in the bottom right
corner of the screen.

To print press:
For Windows, Control Alt E
For Macintosh, Control P

Hit Enter (for Windows) or Return (for Mac)
to advance quickly through the beginning credits and to move quickly through
the ending credits.

When you hear castanets, you are required to
interact by clicking on objects to identify or move them.

Accents and Tildes
Windows
Press (left)Alt and, with Alt still pressed, punch in the proper numeric
code (see p. 13 of your Guide Book). MAKE SURE YOU USE THE NUMERIC KEYPAD.
Macintosh
Accents- press Option and E, then press the letter you want accented.
Tildes- press Option and N, then press N again.

To access the chapters click Contenido.

If you begin your exercises on one computer and finish
on a different one, the exercises you did on the first computer
will not appear on the second computer. Remember--your exercises
will not be saved onto your CD-ROM, but rather onto the hard drive of the
computer on which you are working.

You jump ahead to the Test Menu at the end of the chapter
by clicking the double forward arrows >> on the audio/video control bar.

You jump back to the beginning of the chapter
by clicking the double rewind arrows << on the audio/video control
bar.

You skip ahead one dialog box by clicking the
single forward arrow > on the audio/video control bar.

You may repeat the current dialog box by clicking
the single rewind arrow < on the audio/video control bar. If you want
to go back further, you must click on the double rewind arrows <<
(which will take you back to the beginning of the chapter), and then, click
on the single forward arrow > until you get to where you want to be.

Pay attention to how you log in the first time
and log in the exact same way every time.

When you finish a set of exercises and have gotten a perfect
score, you will see a box with an arrow that says, "You scored
a perfect 7 out of 7." You must click on the arrow in order for
your score to be recorded to the Test Menu. Do not click Next or Test
Menu before clicking on the arrow or you will get a zero.

When you finish a set of exercises and have not gotten
a perfect score, you will see a box says, "Would you like to
retest?" You must click NO in order for your score to be recorded
to the Test Menu. Do not click Next or Test Menu before clicking
NO or you will get a zero.
