Computer Lab Software

Computer Lab software is reviewed before each semester.

Dear All Faculty / Staff / Deans / Chairs: Below is the schedule for the Spring 2010 Computer Build. Please pay attention to the dates, as they provide little slack.

Dates for requesting software to be placed on lab computers are as follows:

  • Spring 2010
    • Lab Mount Forms Due: November 25, 2009, 8:00 p.m.
    • Build Testing by Faculty: December 14 - 16, 2009
    • Build Acceptance Forms Due: December 17, 2009, 8:00 p.m.
    • Build installation into STC's and Teaching Labs: January 4 - 8, 2010
    • Classes begin: January 11, 2010

To request software to be mounted on a lab computer, please complete the Software Mount Form.

  • You must login to complete the form.
  • Your username will be kept with the request .
  • The date you submitted the form will be included with the request
  • Hand deliver the software, loading instructions, documentation and licenses to the IT Support Center located in Hawthorn 108.
  • Software media and licenses will be retained by Computer Services for the duration of its inclusion on the lab build.

This notice applies to all faculty / staff, both full-time and adjunct.

This also applies to specialized settings or customized options within the software. (All software will be installed with default configuration unless otherwise requested through a lab mount form.)

Important: The labs are installed with Windows Vista and Office 2007,  software requested must be compatible with Windows Vista and / or Office 2007.

Please see that all faculty members, including adjuncts, for the Fall semester have their Software Mount Forms in on time.

Please request any and all software that might have been requested in previous years as software may not be installed without a current lab mount form.
