Proficiency in two years of high school algebra or at least a C in MATH M125.

Course Topics
Introduction to calculus. Primarily for students in business and the social sciences.   Topics include:
  • Linear and nonlinear functions
  • The derivative
  • The Chain Rule and Implicit Differentiation
  • Relative and Absolute Extreama
  • Related Rate
  • Integration (if time permits)
A student cannot receive credit for both MATH M119 and MATH M215.
