Prerequisites:
Proficiency in two years of high school algebra or at least a C in MATH
M125.
Course Topics
Introduction to calculus. Primarily for students in business and the
social sciences. Topics include:
- Linear and nonlinear functions
- The derivative
- The Chain Rule and Implicit Differentiation
- Relative and Absolute Extreama
- Related Rate
- Integration (if time permits)
A student cannot receive credit for both MATH M119 and MATH M215. |
