Abstract: Using differential equations we will help Detective Diff E. Quasion find the appropriate murder suspect. We utilize Netwon’s Law of Cooling, LaPlace transformations, and Unit Step Functions, to investigate the time of death of the unfortunate Joe D. Wood. We were able to determine that the main suspect is an unscrupulous cook named Shorty.
