 The kinds and numbers of courses needed in applications of mathematics vary greatly, depending on the application. Students should consult their major department for such information. Some of the mathematics courses most useful for applications are M215, M216, M301, M311, M343, M360, M366, M371, M447, M463, M477. Courses in computer science, business, and information systems are recommended, as well as courses in economics and the natural sciences.
