Department of Mathematics offers a bachelor's degree
program that prepares you for mathematics careers in business or industry. The
program is also a foundation for graduate study in either pure or applied
mathematics.
In
addition to mathematics courses, all majors are strongly encouraged to
study another discipline, in depth, which uses mathematics. Courses in
physics, chemistry, computer science, and business are recommended.
Students
must also complete the general requirement of the Division of Arts and Sciences:
