Welcome to the Office of Marketing and Communications
The Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC) is responsible for the development and implementation of the University's strategic marketing plan; conducting market research; co-coordinating and managing marketing and promotional activities; and developing the University's unique brand and image.
The primary purpose of our office is to promote the University and increase the public's support and awareness of the University's mission, goals, and objectives. In addition, the office plays a vital role in promoting the achievements and activities of IU Northwest's faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
The OMC also provides media advisory services for divisions, schools and departments as well as acting as the first contact for external media, providing press releases and up to date contacts.
The Office of Marketing and Communications also coordinates the University's advertising strategy, designing and implementing tactical advertising and promotional activities; producing the University's publications and ensuring the consistency in all materials representing IU Northwest; coordinating the University's presence at promotional events throughout northwest Indiana; and providing a variety of marketing services to the campus community.
