Search IU Northwest Library

While we are primarily in the business of serving the patrons who are physically in the library and to a lesser extent those who call with questions, we don't want to forget those of you at your computers. Consequently, we are offering this service to provide reference service via e-mail.

Question Mark

By clicking on the link below, you can send an e-mail message to the library's reference desk - where it will be read and answered by one of our librarians within 24 hours (usually). Please note that you must have a valid IU Nortwest e-mail address and that you must include that address in your message if we are going to be able to reply to you. Replies will be sent via e-mail only.

There are a few questions that we either can not or will not answer ... examples include:

  • "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" - We have no idea.
  • "Does the library have a copy of ...?" - You can find this in the IU Online Catalog.
  • "I need 15 research articles on ..." - We can help you find them when you come into the library.

With all that in mind, Ask a Librarian!
