Ruth Ann Needleman
Ruth Needleman's main responsibilities include the labor studies and Swingshift College credit programs and contract programs with USWA District 7. For three consecutive years, Needleman has received awards for her work, including the 1997 IU President's Award for Excellence in Teaching. She has recently had a number of articles accepted for publication. These include "Organizing Low-Wage Workers" in Working USA, "Building Relationships for the Long Haul between Unions and Community-Based Organizations" in Organizing to Win, and "Women Workers: Strategies for Inclusion and Expansion" in A New Labor Movement for the 21st Century. |
