Program Assistant (CLOE) - Office of Student Teaching and Field Placement (School of Education)                   

There is an opening for a Program Assistant in the School of Education at Indiana University Northwest. This position supports the Office and Director of Student Teaching and Field Placement.

Responsibilities: Main responsibilities are to assist the Director in the daily operation of the office, coordinate all correspondence (written and oral) for the office, and represent the Director (in his/her absence) while serving as primary contact for the office, and maintaining the records for the office.

Knowledge and Skills: High school diploma plus demonstrated progressively responsible experience in a secretarial/administrative position; some college level courses are a plus. Ability to utilize a personal computer; experience with software programs.  Keyboard skills must be at a proficient speed-accuracy rate. Ability to use or acquire the skill to use database software. Familiarity with office and business procedures. Good communication, organization, problem solving, prioritizing, and negotiating skills. Must be able to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external constituents. Knowledge of field experience and related accreditation standards as well as School of Education policies related to field experiences is a plus.

Salary: Position salary is $21,403.20 (annually).
