Division Director - School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) The Indiana University Northwest (IU Northwest) School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) is a multidisciplinary, university-wide division of Indiana University. The Director, who reports to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, administers a professional school committed to teaching, research, and service. The interests of the faculty fall into the following areas: policy and administration; finance and economics; urban affairs; environmental policy; criminal justice; nonprofit management; and health administration. In addition, at IU Northwest, SPEA includes Political Science. SPEA enrolls more than 500 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs, has 13 full-time faculty members, and interacts extensively with the Northwest Indiana community. SPEA is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration. The successful candidate will possess: an earned doctorate, a proven record in teaching, research, and administration; and demonstrated experience in community research and engagement.
