Associate of Arts Degree

Students must also complete the general education requirements of the Division of Arts and Sciences. Please see the bulletin for exact details.

Group I

  • Eng W131 and Math M100 (or M118, or M119, or M125, or M215)

Group II - Foreign language

  • Must complete two semesters at 100 level or above.

Group III - General A&S requirements.

  • Courses in each of the Group III areas must be taken from two different disciplines.
  • IIIA - Physical & Biological Science. (Min. 6 cr hrs)
  • IIIB - Social & Behavioral (9 cr hrs)
  • IIIC - Humanities. (9 cr hrs)

Group IV - Western Civilization

  • Western Civilization sequence: Hist H113, H114

Group V - Concentration for CIS

  • Requirements (16-17 cr hrs): C106, D150, (A201 and A302) or (C201 and C307) or (C203 and C320) or (A210 and A346).

Group VI - Electives

  • The balance of credits can be taken as electives to complete a total of 60 Credit hours.
