The purpose of the department of Human Resources/Payroll is to establish
and coordinate effective programs to recruit, develop and retain qualified
employees to support the University's mission of teaching, research and
public service.

To create and maintain an accessible and confidential environment
that promotes awareness and understanding, and to provide accurate information
and timely service.

IU Northwest has implemented a unified, online
application process for open full time staff jobs on all IU campuses. The new
employment process makes it easier for applicants to apply for staff
openings and provide greater transparency to the applicant.
Users can now …
- Enjoy a streamlined process of
creating a personal OLA account
- Store a resume in OLA for easy
access and easy apply process
- Search all open Staff positions at
all campuses
- Customize their job search by
campus location, type of job or job number
- See the status of their
application, e.g., if they were referred or not; if the department is
conducting interviews; if a job offer has been made; view their test
scores
An online process provides efficient use of IU and
environmental resources, near 24/7 access for applicants, and opportunities
for an expanded diverse applicant pool. IU is pleased to be able to offer
this application method.
