Protection of Human Subjects in Research Certification

Education Requirements

All IU Northwest researchers must document that they have been trained to involve humans in research by passing the IU test for using humans in research, before their study will be approved. Test certification will expire after a five (5) year period.

Proof of having passed the test (available by return e-mail at: ) must accompany the application at the time of submission. This applies to all new submissions with those individuals specifically listed in the application as primary investigator, sponsor, and / or co-investigator.
