The IU Northwest Campus Health and Wellness Center is a made possible through a collaborative effort between the College of Health and Human Services and Methodist Hospitals, Inc. It is an organization of health care professionals who are committed to improving the health and well-being of the IU Northwest campus community. We seek to do this through the delivery of high quality, affordable health care and through health promotion and illness prevention activities that provide students, faculty, and staff with the tools they need to live a healthy lifestyle.

Fall 2009 Hours beginning the week of August 31st (expanded hours may be announced at a later date):

  • Tuesday 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

H1N1 Vaccination Information:

Beginning the week of November 23rd , the Campus Health and Wellness Center will be offering free vaccination against H1N1 to the following groups of faculty, staff, and students:

  • Pregnant women;
  • Those under age 25
  • Persons 25-64 years of age who have chronic diseases (including immunodeficiency states) that pose risk for influenza.

Depending on demand of the above groups, we will continue with this prioritization until December 8th, at which time we will begin vaccinating any faculty, staff, or student who desires it (if demand based on the above prioritization schedule is lower than expected, we will open it up to the general campus community sooner). Thank you for your patience.

Note: vaccinations will continue as long as there is demand and as long as we maintain a supply of the drug.


Holiday Schedule

The Campus Health and Wellness Center will be closed Wednesday 11/25/2009 and Thursday 11/26/2009. Also the Campus Health and Wellness Center will close for the semester break 12/21/2009 and reopen 01/11/2010. The new semester hours will be posted on the home page of the website.

Medications and laboratory tests are at cost (no narcotics available / no narcotic prescriptions written)
