IUN Graduate Social Work Association

The mission of the IUN Graduate Social Work Association is to: encourage involvement and integration of the efforts of the students and faculty to achieve greater academic excellence, student access, community support, political activism, and social justice; to act as a liaison between the students and the MSW faculty; to advocate and provide an opportunity to have a voice in IUN's MSW policies; to provide opportunities for closer bonding of all students in IUN's MSW program; and to establish an organization that is practical and beneficial to the part-time MSW student.

Members shall be all currently enrolled and accepted to the IUN Graduate Social Work program, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation and/or identity, ethnicity, race, religious or political affiliation, or differing abilities in accordance with the Indiana University Code of Student Ethics.

Faculty membership will be voted upon at the first general meeting after elections of officers. Alumni membership will be voted upon at the first general meeting after the election of officers.

Undergraduate BSW students will be eligible for membership at the time of their enrollment, when the program becomes available at IUN.
