Dr. Robert Moon presented his proposal for an Paramedic Associated Arts degree. Most questions involved editing questions and clarification of courses. It was agreed that the M014 course would be dropped from the proposal and M100 substituted since M014 is actually a remedial course. It was also agreed that the term nonclinical would be substituted for preclinical since these course could, in some instances, be taken after the clinical courses. The committee was assured that all costs for the program would come from outside sources and that no new funding would be required. The committee approved the proposal subject to the above noted changes.
Dr. Joseph Pellicciotti presented his proposal for a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Environmental Affairs. After a short discussion the committee approved the proposal pending the addition of the term “Post Baccalaureate” to the proposed title of the degree on page 1 of the proposal, and the assurances that all costs of the program would come from existing budgets and that new funds were necessary to start the program.
