Welcome Students are able to read, download, and print the reserve material for classes without making a special trip to the library. Materials on ERIS are password protected. The professors involved in the project will give passwords to their students. The readings for this service are stored as PDF (Adobe® Portable Data Format) files. To read or print them you will need to have the Adobe Acrobat® Reader. If you are not sure if your computer has this software, simply try and view one of the files. If you find that you need to get a copy of the Adobe Acrobat® Reader, it is available to IUN students/staff/faculty from the IUN Bookstore on the IUware CD-ROM (along with copies of web browsers, an e-mail client, and IU recommended telnet software) for the low cost of $5. If you prefer, you can visit Adobe.com to download a free copy of Adobe Acrobat® Reader. Versions are available for all major operating systems including UNIX, C, Windows etc. Be advised this is a large (@ 4-6 Mb) download.
