The Enrollment Services area supports our academic units by assisting prospective students to become a part of our IU Northwest community and assisting current students to remain a part of the community and to successfully complete their programs of study. This site provides information on specific Enrollment Services activities and the organization of our area.

Bookstore Changing Ownership

As of July 1, the ownership and operation of the bookstore will be transferred from Indiana University to Barnes and Noble. We anticipate fall textbooks will be available in early August. Payment for textbooks is expected at the time of purchase by cash, personal check or credit card.

Book vouchers will NOT be available this year.

Enrollment Services, as an integral part of Administrative & Fiscal Affairs at IU Northwest, adheres to the service philosophy of Administrative & Fiscal Affairs’ units. That philosophy states:

What Does the Enrollment Services Area Do?

Service is provided to the faculty, students, staff, alumni, and the general community, by assisting with and focusing upon

  • assessment and evaluation
  • admission
  • enrollment
  • financial aid and scholarships
  • registration and student records
  • orientation
  • special retention programs, including
    • the Critical Literacy Program
    • the "REACH" partnership with Ivy Tech State College
    • supplemental instruction, mentoring and tutoring initiatives
  • career services, including
    • career counseling
    • internships
    • placement assistant

Who Are We?

IU Northwest Enrollment Services is headed by the Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, who reports to the Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Fiscal Affairs.
