Advocacy

Various grantwriting resources are available through the Non-Profit Institute at IU Northwest, including:

Legislative Advocacy Committee
Partnership between IU Northwest, Non-Profit Institute, and Northwest Indiana Continuum of Care Network

Goals:

• To provide a clearinghouse for information on legislatice issues, legislative days, and tips for legislative advocacy
• To educate non-profit agencies and community members on how to advocate and become engaged citizens at the local, state, and national level

Our main focus is on educating and empowering the community in Northwest Indiana to get involved in the legislative process, so that their opinions can be heard.
