William Buckley	English	Co-sponsor and collaborate with Books, Brushes and Bands to conduct poetry writing workshops for elementary through college students, with a student-learning component, and conducting a poetry contest
Marie Eisenstein	School of Public and Environmental Affairs	Exploring how religious individuals in Northwest Indiana understand linkages between faith and participation in a liberal democracy
Robin Hass-Birky and Jerry Pierce	English and History	Host an academic symposium on the Middle Ages at IU Northwest that would include the local community
Julie Jackson	Performing Arts	For Theatre Northwest to secure a visiting director and to produce the play, Permanent Collection, along with several other related project in collaboration with COAS Departments of Fine Arts and Minority Studies and IU Northwest Galleries
Kelly Knaga and Eric Tucker	Fine Arts	Project focused on using steel as both the medium and the subject matter to create artwork, in partnership with steel industry representatives
Manoj Pardasani	Social Work	Research cross-cultural adaptation and acculturation of Asian- American immigrants
Scooter Pegram	Modern Languages and Minority Studies	Research cultural identity and sentiments among Latino teenagers and young adults in the greater Chicago land area
Shelia Trzcinka	Education	Design and implement a pilot arts education program for elementary school students to visit IU Northwest's campus to experience art-in-progress and to engage in a discussion with the IU Northwest artist, David Klamen, and his student assistant, and to build upon this experience through creating their own artwork and writing about this experience
Derek Walter	Fine Arts	Create, in a student-learning and creativity project using Indiana clay, ceramic friezes for planters to be placed at the entrance to Savannah Center in order to enhance the artistic beauty of one of the primary entrances to the IU Northwest campus
