The Davage Minor Papers comprise three scrapbooks compiled by Mr. Davage Minor. Mr. Minor, a championship basketball player, is credited with launching the first jump shot in Northwest Indiana play. An all-state player for Gary's Froebel High School, he went on to become All-American at the University of California at Los Angeles. He went on to play professional basketball for the Baltimore Bullets, the Milwaukee Hawks, and the Harlem Globetrotters. Mr. Minor died in March 1998 at the age of 76.
