Proficiency Exams

A passing score on four proficiency exams in the following subject areas are required for completion of the BS degree in Chemistry:

Inorganic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry

Physical Chemistry

Analytical Chemistry

These exams are generally taken soon after completing the related courses. Students should speak to their professors to make arrangements to sit for these exams.
