Instructional Technology Specialist
Jodie Reminder , Instructional Technology Specialist at IUN's Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, joined the staff in 2005. She holds a Masters degree from Purdue University Calumet in Instructional Technology. Her interests include instructional media production, technology integration in education environments, and online teaching and learning.
As the Instructional Technology Specialist, she consults with faculty on technological issues related to course design, instructional methods, technology integration, and a range of other topics. She also coordinates and conducts workshops and other activities related to technology in education.
Jodie serves as the coordinator of CETL's support efforts for Oncourse CL, Indiana University's online collaboration and learning environment. In tackling this project, she has the invaluable skill of placing learners at ease as they learn new technology. She treats learners with dignity and respect whether teaching a complex computer program or something as simple as how to send an Email. She believes it is never to late to learn about technology.
