Rosters for the Electronic Reserves Information System (ERIS) Faculty members using the library's Electronic Reserve Information System (ERIS) can allow their students to view reserved information via the web. Electronic reserve materials are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any computer that can connect to the Internet. In order to allow student access, faculty members must e-mail student usernames (Network-IDs) to ERIS (See directions below). These usernames can be found using OnCourse, regardless of whether you are using Oncourse for the class or not. Students are automatically added to your course in Oncourse two weeks prior to the start of class. At that time, you MUST e-mail usernames to ERIS to be sure your students have access. NOTE: IPFW Students taking your class must have an IU-Affiliate account to use ERIS; they cannot use a guest account for this process! Usernames from OnCourseThe process of submitting usernames involves exporting the user IDs from Oncourse, copying the user IDs from Excel, and pasting the user IDs into an email for ERIS. The process looks harder than it is and may seem confusing for the first time user. Please feel free to contact Jodie Reminder at 981-5663 if you need assistance in this process:
NOTE: As as more students are added to the class, especially after the drop & add period, e-mail a complete list of ALL usernames to ERIS using these same directions.
