Dr. Kilibarda says that he has known many bright and hard working students in his previous institutions but the most diverse and interesting students he met here in our own institution. When given right guidance and inspiration, many of his students have become successful and achieved the highest academic goals.

Dr. Kilibarda's research with undergraduates is an area where he excelled in the last several years. He says that doing the research in Geosciences is a real joy. In the last four years, he has worked with nine students on different projects, ranging from NW Indiana's sand dunes, central and southern Indiana limestones, to international studies in carbonates of Bahamas and Montenegro. From such team-based projects, they presented collaborative work at several conferences and, so far, produced two publications. |
