Job Title:
Construction Sales Intern

Job Description:
The basic function of this position is to assist the construction sales department in a variety of ways including clerical work, sending out quotes, taking some inbound calls, making outbound prospect sales calls and various other tasks and projects.

• Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Make daily outbound calls to prospects.
  • Track construction leads using online reports from Dodge and Reed.
  • Assist with office coverage as needed.
  • Assist construction sales team with customers and quotes as needed.
  • General data entry including entering work orders as needed.
  • Assemble construction sales information & packets for mailing.
  • Assist construction sales team with thank you calls, mailing notes and gifts to prospects and customers and additional customer follow up when needed.
  • Assist construction sales team with expo preparation.
  • Assist construction sales team with special projects as needed.
• Education:
  • Two years college coursework at a minimum.
  • Business degree or courses a plus.
• Skills:
  • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Requirements:
  • Previous customer service or sales experience a plus.
  • Outgoing, positive, pleasant personality.
  • Enjoys making outbound calls to prospects and customers.
  • Enjoys handling multiple tasks throughout the day.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  • Drug Free.
