Research Lab Internship
Job Description:
The intern will be responsible for writing ads, getting price quotes for ad placement, researching and creating a solicitation list of potential buyers, producing displays for the webmaster to incorporate into the company website and preparing marketing photos. Fall 2008.
- Project description:
- ACT I / ARAL is a growth company positioned to add new positions to the company for work in the NWI lab location. ACT I views internships as a prime means to identify potential new full tine employees. Two current full time staff started as interns. Fall 2008 interns will provide assistance with research projects related to photo catalytic destruction of contaminants.
- Qualifications:
- Obtaining formal education in analytical chemistry, electrical engineering and/or environmental engineering.
- Experience with GC, GCMS, HPLC, LCMSMS and/or electrical characterization equipment.
- Solid research and development skills.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good analytical, organizational, time and project management skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly.
- Must be able to work well with others as part of a team.
- Junior level credits.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- US citizenship.
- Location: Purdue Technology Center of NWI, Merrillville, IN
- Reports to: Lab Director / Research Scientist, ACT I Research and Analytical Lab
