Job Title:
Merchandiser
Job Description:
This position will be responsible for merchandising in grocery Stores. This includes builing displays, stocking shelves, setting up pos, organizing back rooms, etc.
- Installs and maintains all NCD point-of-sales material in retail accounts using common electrical hand tools and stepladder.
- Builds merchandise displays in assigned retail accounts.
- Stocks shelves and rotates product in accordance with quality assurance standards.
- Repairs signs as needed, bulb replacement and minor electrical adjustments.
- Submits daily activity reports to supervisor.
- Responsible for maintaining assigned company equipment and tools.
- Manages time effectively to route daily work needs, while following bulk delivery truck.
- Complies with and insures direct reports, where applicable, comply with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) laws and regulations along with NCD EHS Policies and Procedures.
- Reports to Merchandising Manager.
- Department / Organization: Delivery Department North Coast Distributing.
- Direct Supervision: Yes
- Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- Someone who is willing to work hard and learn the beer business.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Position requires high school education or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of merchandising principles and techniques is necessary.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Candidate must be mechanically inclined, able to follow verbal and written instruction.
