Job Title:
Delivery Helper - Temporary
Job Description:
To assist in the delivery of beer to accounts that include bars, stores, resturants, Etc. This person will load and unload cases of beer and kegs from trucks and deliver into accounts via a two wheel hand cart, merchandise when needed and generally help in every aspect of the delivery process.
- Adheres to all NCD (North Coast Distributing) and legal guidelines regarding collection policies and procedures.
- Assists NCD Delivery Driver in unloading NCD product from delivery truck at assigned retail accounts.
- Assist NCD Delivery Driver in placing product in proper locations within retail accounts.
- Physically capable of handling and delivering between 500 and 1,000 30 lb. cases every day.
- Lift up 165 lbs. consistently on a daily basis.
- Stocks shelves and rotates product in accordance with quality assurance standards.
- Responsible for maintaining any assigned NCD company equipment and tools.
- Complies with and insures direct reports, where applicable, comply with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) laws and regulations along with NCD Policies and Procedures.
- Reports to Delivery Supervisor.
- Department / Organization: Delivery Department North Coast Distributing.
- Direct Supervision: Yes
- Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
- Willing to work hard and learn the beer business.
- Candidate must have good communication skills.
- Incumbent must have a high school diploma or GED.
