Job Description:
Oldies are back in Chicago! 94.7 FM Chicago’s Classic Hits and True Oldies debuted in September of 2005 and we’re looking for top-notch Morning Show Interns to help us with our exciting Morning Show “MacKay in the Morning” and bring the excitement back as Chicago’s one and only Oldies station!

• Objective:
  • Assist with our high energy and exciting Morning Show “MacKay in the Morning”. 
  • Duties will include helping our Producer with production items, screening calls, show logs, booking guests, and sending out promotional items.
  • Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work hard are a must.
• Requirements:
  • Ability to work an early morning schedule at a high level of energy and productivity.
  • Current undergraduate college student.
  • Internship must be taken for credit.
  • Must be available to work a variable 10-15 hours a week.
• Hours:
  • 10-15 hours per week, morning show hours: 5:00am-9:00am.

Interns are selected on the basis of professional potential. 94.7 FM Chicago’s Classic Hits and True Oldies is an equal opportunity employer. Interns are considered trainees and not employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1973. A staff member will supervise interns on a day-to-day basis. A department head will complete an evaluation or other necessary information for the student to receive credit for the internship and / or grades if internship is approved by the campus Academic Advisor. Please note: loss of credit hours will occur if internship is terminated due to unreliability, incomplete semester hours, etc.
