The NWIESC in conjunction with its member school corporations will host a spring job fair to introduce prospective teachers, administrators, school services personnel, and other educational specialists to the various districts in northwest Indiana. Meet area Personnel Directors, Human Resource Specialists, and Principals as well as network with other job seekers. If you are becoming an educator, currently hold a valid educational license, and are seeking to secure a position in the K-12 school system or if you have a desire to become a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, or coach – this is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet with hiring specialists from a multitude of districts.
Please bring the following:
- Several copies of your updated resume.
- Several copies of your cover letter.
- Several copies of letters of recommendations &/or references.
- Several copies of your teacher’s license (if applicable).
- A folder or organizer to collect district information.
- A CD or DVD with supporting documentation (if applicable).
Things to remember:
- Dress professionally.
- Use spell check on all documents for distribution.
- Allow yourself extra time for travel in case of inclement weather.
- Remember to register for this event. If you are unable to attend the job fair, make sure to submit the appropriate documents (resume, cover letter, and any supporting documentation) and forward them to the NWIESC by March 1, 2008.
