Chemistry, Astronomy, Physics (CAP) Club

The CAP Club is a Student Affiliate Chapter of the American Chemical Society, which offers its members access to the latest information in the chemical and medical fields—from job opportunities to tips on graduate school selection and application. The Club sponsors at least three social events each year and they are excellent opportunities to loosen up and get to know your professors and fellow students on an informal level.

Find out what kinds of jobs will be waiting for you once you graduate by touring various companies with the club: Argonne Labs and G.D. Searle Pharmaceuticals, as well as the research labs of Amoco and Inland Steel. We are always open for suggestions, including visits to area medical schools any members would like to visit.

All of these activities require some input on your part; we need your help and your ideas! Remember your help is necessary for success.
