Welcome to our website. It was created to help combat sexual harassment in colleges and universities. We have recently revised and updated the site in conjunction with the publication of The Lecherous University by Dr. Charles Hobson and Colleen Hobson M.S., R.N. and hope that it will continue to serve as a resource to help students and parents fight for their rights, because we believe that, "one more victim is one too many."
Unfortunately, the prevalence of college student sexual harassment in the United States is a national disgrace. The American Association of University Women (AAUW) has concluded that 75% of women in colleges and universities have been affected by sexual harassment.
Most colleges and universities in this country have failed to effectively address sexual harassment on campus. In fact, many institutions have created conditions that implicitly condone and allow faculty to harass students without fear of detection or punishment. Consequently, students and their parents cannot trust academic institutions to aggressively guarantee and protect student civil rights.
We intend to attack this disgusting problem by informing and empowering students
and their parents. By knowing what your rights are, how to protect those rights,
and how to effectively file a complaint, we hope to begin the process of
effectively eliminating sexual harassment on college campuses.
