Ryan Shelton begins his second year as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Indiana University Northwest. Coach Shelton played basketball locally at Merrillville High School (Merrillville, IN) and collegiately at Savannah College of Art and Design (NCAA Div. III, Savannah, GA). He holds two degrees from Indiana University Northwest a B.F.A. 2000 and M.P.A. 2005. Shelton has held the professional position of Marketing and Communications Specialist at IU Northwest since 2000. He resides in Griffith, IN with his wife Kellie and daughter Talia. |

Loretta Soria begins her first season as Associate Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Indiana University Northwest. Loretta served as an assistant coach at Calumet College in Whiting, IN from 2004-2006 and was promoted to head women’s basketball coach in 2006-2007. Soria played professionally in Australia’s ABA league and collegiately at Chicago State University (NCAA, Div. I, Chicago, IL) from 2000-2004. Soria ranks in the top 10 all-time in career offensive categories at Chicago State. Soria recently won a gold medal while representing the nation of Malta in the 2008 European Basketball Championships. Soria holds a B.S Elementary Education from Calumet College of St. Joseph and a B.S Physical Education from Chicago State University. She is married to Dan Soria and has a one and a half-year-old daughter, Isabella
