Sad news about IUN Anthropology Major Tina Spivak

Tina died Wednesday in an automobile accident on US 30 near her place of work.

Tina was one of our best and brightest and most serious and most popular
students, and one of the youngest, too.  I am still in shock, I was just
speaking with her earlier in the week about choosing a graduate school.

I will follow up with news of arrangements when I get them.

Tina was 20, almost 21, and was this year's winner of the Clarke Johnson
Memorial Scholarship and an IUN Anthro Club Academic Achievement Award. She was
from Schererville and was, I believe, the oldest of three sisters.
