to give hands-on instruction in several methods that ancient people used to start fire. This will probably continue outside all afternoon.

IU South Bend: Tal Simmons, Associate Professor of Anthropology at Western Michigan
University, will be there on Monday October 26 at 4 pm to speak about her
forensic work in Bosnia. Wiekamp Hall, Room 1135
"Human Rights Forensic Anthropology in Bosnia: It's More Than Digging
Graves" During the Summer of 1998, Dr. Simmons worked in her capacity as a
forensic anthropologist with a team of human rights investigators in Bosnia
who were unearthing mass graves and
attempting to identify the victims. In this talk, she will be discussing
the integration of archaeology, cultural anthropology, and biological
anthropology that human rights forensic work
