Has Darwin been Expelled from School?

Free admission, open to the public, refreshments served

Featuring several excellent speakers on evolution and Darwin, cake and songs, and just plain fun.  The featured speaker will talk for 60 minutes, the others will have 30 minutes, with a 15 minute period for questions and discussion between talks.  So come whenever you can, and stay as long as you want.

noon     introduction by Dave Holland
12:15     Ken Schoon (Education), "'Understanding the Rainbow': differing viewpoints"
1:00       Greg Forbes, featured guest speaker from Grand Rapids Community College and the Michigan Scientific Evolution Education Initiative, "What's all the fuss three and 1/2 billion years after the FACT?"
2:30       Kristin Huysken (Geology), "The Bumper Car theory of the evolution of the earth"
3:15       Alan Barr (English), "Bulldog Huxley and his advocacy of Darwinism"
4:00       Spencer Cortwright (Biology), "If Darwin were alive today, I'd like to talk to him about three things..."
4:45       Rhiman Rotz (History), "But, Toto, we're not in the 1920's any more"

Oh, and we will be selling the Darwin fish emblems and T-shirts.
