NOTE: students focusing on anthropology will probably wish to take S254 in B. above, S431 in D., S441 in E., and S362 topics (twice) in F., as all of these are also anthropology courses.  Given that two other anthro courses are required in GROUP III and a third one is allowed, and one can also be taken in GROUP IV-2, this means anthropology students can get a BA in Sociology with 5 Sociology courses, 5 Sociology/ Anthropology courses, and 4 Anthropology courses; take just one more and you get an anthropology minor, too.
