A. Speakers for Spring 2003
1) Dr. Greenberg may be a good candidate to speak on Tuesday or Thursday
in the bio anth course
(a) need to figure out when we should contact him
B. Darwin Day will be February 11 if a room will be open in the conference
center
1) Note to Dr. Mucci to reserve the room
C. Book Sale
1) When do we want it?
(a) before of after spring break?
(b) should we plan to have them roughly
six months apart?
(c) last week March, first week of April?
-possibly the 29 th of March
-before we solidify plans we need to check
on the room
2) New items to sell at the sale
(a) Lucy poster for $10; sell it for $16
-maybe frame one and put it in the library
(b) Aye-Aye arm may be a good purchase to donate to the department
-information for suggestions above can be located in Bones and Clones
catalog
D. In next semesters schedule we need to set a presentation day for
those who attended (and received stipend) to Grand Rapids workshop
1) Do we want a Friday, Tuesday, or Thursday?
E. A digital camera will be purchased by the club
F. Tee-shirt contest
1) Once the winner has been selected we can decide if the design will
be printed on a colored tee-shirt and what colors would be best
