STANDARD I: Prerequisite Coursework
- If an applicant is applying under the Health Professionals track,
the applicant must give a current copy of their respective healthcare
license designating the applicant as a member in good standing.
- Apply and be admitted to Indiana University Northwest.
- Submit an Allied Health application by February 1 of the year you
wish to start the professional program.
- Applicants should have completed the prerequisite coursework.
STANDARD II: Grade Requirements
To be considered for admission to the Radiologic Sciences - Radiation
Therapy Concentration, all applicants must:
- Maintain a minimum grade of C (2.0) in all stated prerequisite courses.
Note: A grade of C- will be accepted in a physical and biological
sciences course if it is completed on an IU campus provided that a
cumulative GPA of 2.0 is achieved for a total 16-20 hours of physical
and biological sciences course prerequisites.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for all Professional
health courses.
Maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.3 on a 4.0
scale for all course work.
STANDARD III: Testing
No special testing procedures are utilized in the admission process.
STANDARD IV: References
References are not utilized in the admission process.
STANDARD V: I.U. Application
Application to Indiana University must be prior to or concurrent with
application to the Radiologic Sciences Program.
STANDARD VI: Personal Interview
All qualified applicants for the Radiologic Sciences - Radiation Therapy
Concentration Program will be interviewed as a part of the admission
process.
STANDARD VII: Technical Standards
The technical standards for admission and retention for the School
of Nursing and Health Professions are utilized by the Radiologic Sciences
Program. These are sent to all applicants upon receipt of an application.
STANDARD VIII: Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Policy

STANDARD IX: Acceptance Policy
Candidates are ranked according to a calculated Admission profile Number
developed by the Program Admission Committee. The academic and interview
profile numbers are combined to proved a TOTAL ADMISSION
PROFILE NUMBER for each candidate. 80% of the total profile number is
based on academic information and 20% is based on selection preference.
Students admitted to the Radiologic Science - Radiation Therapy Concentration
Program must formally accept or decline admission in writing.
