General education requirements may be taken at Indiana University Northwest
(IUN) or any accredited college or university on a part-time basis. The
following courses that are followed by (G) meet the general education

To graduate, the student must satisfactorily complete 122 credit hours
to include 55 credit hours of prerequisite and general education courses
and 67 credit hours of professional 300-400 level courses. All professional
courses must be completed with a grade of C (2.0) or higher. All course
work must be completed in compliance with academic and professional policies
of the program and school.

CAREER OPTIONS:
Radiation therapists find employment in hospitals, research centers, and
a growing number of free-standing clinics. In addition, with experience,
a radiation therapist may advance to administration, dosimetry, education,
research, or commercial sales.
PROGRAM ADMISSION
PROCESS:
Applicants for admission to the program will be expected to:
- Submit an Allied
health application.
- Provide evidence of registration or registration eligibility with
the accrediting agency for which they obtained their associate degree,
if applicable.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for all radiography
courses.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale for all course
work.
- Maintain a minimum grade of C (2.0) in all stated prerequisite courses.
- Participate in a personal interview.
Preference is given to applicants who are Indiana residents and/or to
applicants who complete the majority of applicable course work at a college
or university in Indiana.
