Transfer Students

We're glad you're interested in transferring to IU Northwest and we'll be happy to work with you to see how courses from other institutions may apply to programs here. At IU Northwest, you'll discover a comfortable campus environment, flexible scheduling, and personal attention from faculty who care about you.

Here are the steps you'll need to follow to become a student at IU Northwest:

1. Complete the admission application (you can apply online right now).
2. Send your nonrefundable $25 application fee, payable to the Office of the Bursar.
3. Ask all colleges you have attended to send us your transcripts.
4. If you're transferring from another IU campus, complete the IU Intercampus Transfer Application.
5. If you have earned fewer than 26 college credit hours or have a college GPA of less than 2.0, have your official high school transcript sent to the Office of Admissions.
6. If you have been out of high school for less than three years, you will need to submit your SAT scores to the Office of Admissions.
7. Apply for financial aid.
