Applications

Our application process is simple, straightforward, and convenient—and we can help you every step of the way.

Apply Online

Online applications will be accepted for the fall term through August 15, 2008.

Perhaps the easiest way to apply is to complete an online application. If you have applied to IU Northwest within the past 24 months, do not apply on-line. It is not necessary and your fee will not be refunded. Instead, update your previous application by calling 219-980-6991. Please note: If you have ever attended any IU campus do not use this application. Students who have attended any IU campus other than Northwest should use the intercampus transfer form. Do not use this application if you have ever taken classes at IU Northwest as a degree seeking student; you should contact your previous division for re-admission. Applying online requires a credit card payment of the $25 application fee.

International applicants must complete the international student application.

Printable Applications

You may print one of the following applications, complete it, and mail it to our office with a $25 application fee (check or money order) made payable to IU Northwest.

• Freshman or transfer student application for applicants seeking a certificate or associate or bachelor degree.
• Guest student application for applicants enrolled in another college / university who want to take courses at IU Northwest on a temporary basis and have them transfer back to their home college / university.
• High school student application for applicants who want to take college courses while still in high school. ($25 application fee does not apply)
• Grad non-degree student application for an applicant who has completed a bachelor or masters degree and wants to take courses but not seek a degree.

Intercampus Transfers

If you are transferring to IU Northwest from another IU campus, complete the online Intercampus Transfer Application.

International Students

International student applications for IU Northwest are processed through IU’s Bloomington campus. Please refer to their International Student admission requirements and application.
