The Center for Sustainable Regional Vitality

The Center for Sustainable Regional Vitality wants to look at ways the IU Northwest Campus can focus more effectively and with adequate resources on the needs of the community.

The Center for Sustainable Regional Vitality also focuses on establishing and maintaining community partnerships that enhance the quality of life in the region. It strives to strategically promote collaborations across academic disciplines and among Northwest Indiana's six colleges and universities. The Center for Sustainable Regional Vitality develops collaborative projects, it promote research, course development, and service learning to support strategic objectives. The Center for Sustainable Regional Vitality promotes other initiatives focusing on five broad categories: economic development, local and regional government, nonprofit, education and social initiatives; the environment; and health.
