The PDS assessment process is a way of looking at PDS work through the lens of the PDS Standards. If you have been thinking about using the PDS assessment process it is a good idea to ask yourselves the following questions:

What do you want to know about your PDS partnership?

Who needs to be involved in doing the assessment?

What will you look at?

Some PDS partnerships involve only one P–12 school partner while other PDS partnerships extend to many P–12 schools. The assessment process is designed to work in either case, but there are differences in the way you will go about it.

(See the Handbook for Assessment of PDSs for a discussion of these questions)
