IU Northwest has requested that all faculty and staff make time to get their official IU Northwest portrait taken. This portrait will be the official image used on your department's website, and it will appear in the “meet our faculty/staff” section, or similar section. You may use your portrait for marketing or news events, and for personal use.

If you need the highest resolution image for your needs, you must contact the IUN Marketing department and request a high resolution version of your portrait. The high resolution image is cropped as an 8x10 image at 300 dpi that can also be printed as a photo portrait for your own use.There are also two other lower resolution versions of your portrait that are cropped as a square, and they are used for your department's website.

Web Services schedules portrait taking sessions twice per year, with multiple days per session, in order to allow faculty and staff an opportunity to select a date and time that will work for them. We schedule at least one portrait event near the beginning of each semester, with one in the fall and one in the spring semesters.  

Portrait taking session dates and times will be emailed to all IU Northwest faculty and staff by the Office of Marketing and Communications. The email will contain a link to a calendar showing the dates and times of the portrait sessions.  You may select and schedule a date and time that serves you best. We also take “walk-ins” during any of the dates and times listed. 

If you are new to IU Northwest and need a portrait taken, then please wait until the next scheduled portrait session and sign up for a date and time during that event.

If you’ve already had your photo taken and you would like to update you photo with a new one, then feel free to schedule or walk-in during the next portrait session dates.  If you have questions about portraits, then please contact the IT Help desk and they will relay your question to the Web Services department.
