2012 Web Redesign Project
Scope
Migrate current content from old WCMS web pages (old templates) to new templates. The project will be handled in a phased approach with the high priority first to the over 100 academic sites with secondary priority to administrative sites, also close to 100. A high priority will also be given to sites that are published frequently so as to minimize the impact the old template design has on the University's server. The site will be re-achitectured to accommodate easy navigation scheme, search engine optimization and based on services offered. Sites will be handled within the campus WCMS system.
Outside of the scope of this project are upgrades or changes to existing applications such as the Calendar, the Event Scheduler and other custom applications. Development of new applications is outside the scope of this project. Also outside the scope of the project are ne sites to accommodate new programs or services.
