Requests for Software Installations
To ensure IT student labs, the portable classroom laptops, STCs, and technology classroom lecterns have appropriate software each spring and fall semester, UITS Northwest notifies the campus by email when it is time to submit software requests for the next semester. The "standard build" includes software used by all disciplines, such as Microsoft Office. Completion of the "Software Build Request" form is only necessary if you require other/additional software. If special software is required, it is your responsiblity as the requestor to provide appropriate licenses, installation media or site license information.
A finely-tuned schedule for submission, testing and deployment deadlines is developed for each new build. A smooth start for the semester depends on strict adherance to the deadlines by everyone involved. The online Software Build Request form is only available during the scheduled submission periods.
