Classroom Lab and STC Software Request
To request software to be installed on the build, please complete the Software Request Form. [Sorry, the Software Request Form is no longer being accepted at this time]
- You must login to complete the form.
- Your username will be kept with the request.
- The date you submitted the form will be included with the request.
Hand deliver software, loading instructions, documentation and licenses to the UITS Northwest Support Center located in Hawthorn 108. Software media and licenses will be retained by Computer Services for the duration of its inclusion on the lab build.
The following software will be automatically included as part of the Basic Build package and do not require a request unless you have custom settings or other special instructions regarding these packages:
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
- iTunes
- Microsoft Office 2010 - PC
- Microsoft Office 2011 - Mac
- Mozilla Firefox
- Quicktime
- Windows 7 utilities: Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player, etc.
Important: Software requested must be compatible with Windows 7 and Office 2010 for PC and OS X version 10.7 and Office 2011 for Mac.
Please request any and all software that might have been requested in previous years as software will not be installed without a current Software Request Form.
Spring 2013 dates for requesting software to be included on the lab and STC computers are as follows:
- Software Request Forms Due: November 2, 2012, 5:00 p.m. (submit on line)
- Build Testing by Faculty: November 26th – 30th, 2012, 9:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
- Online Problem Forms Due: November 30, 2012, 5:00 p.m.
- Build installation into STC's and Teaching Labs: December 17 – December 21, 2012
- Classes begin: January 7, 2013
Please remind other faculty members, including adjuncts, to have their Software Request Forms in on time.
